How to Improve the Quality of Your Sleep by Using Tips From Your Personal Fitness Trainer

Getting enough sleep is good. Making those sleep hours as restful as they can possibly be is better. It will help your body make more efficient use of your Tustin personal training … Here are some tips on making your sleep more restful.

Make Your Bedroom Dark

Sometimes your sleep isn’t as restful as it could be because you have light flooding into your room. Make sure your curtains can effectively block any lights that might be flooding

Don’t Watch Television Right Before you go to Bed

The human body bases it’s rhythms on light and dark. When it’s light, your brain think it’s daytime. When it’s dark, your brain thinks it’s night. So when you stare directly into a bright light like when you watch television, it is essentially telling your brain that you shouldn’t go to bed quite yet. So make sure to turn off your television and dim the lights in your house at least half an hour before you plan on going to sleep.

Try and Wake Up at The Same Time Every Day

A lot of people have to wake up early on weekdays, but like to sleep late on weekends. I know a lot of Tustin personal trainers who are guilty of the same thing. This cycle disrupts your natural rhythm and makes your sleep less restful. If you think you can manage it, wake up on weekends at the same time you wake up on weekdays.

Limit Your Caffeine

You have a ton of java during the day, you brain is still going a million miles hour while you are sleeping. Try cutting back as much as you can. And don’t worry about having energy for work. With how much more effective your sleep will be, you will probably actually gain energy by drinking less coffee.
