You have a stumbled onto what promises to be an extremely content rich, educational, thought provoking and sometimes controversial blog/article vault about how to live a fit, healthy and happy life. I tend to speak from a contrarian veiwpoint for the most part as I have learned that if I want to live the kind of healthy and happy life I truly desire then I should just watch what the majority does and do the opposite. Some day the majority might catch on, but for now, well…

Earl Nightingale once said “Most people tiptoe through life hoping to make it safely to death.” I think old Earl was right and I refuse to live like that. If you’re reading this blog I’m sure you feel the same way.

Stay tuned for all kinds of tips, wisdom, insight and ideas on how to have the body, mindset and the healthy life you want. If I sound cynical yet positive, slightly offensive but encouraging, straight forward yet paradoxical or write with a hint of dry wit at times don’t think it means I don’t respect you, I do. That’s just how life works and I just know what voice is the most effective for me to communicate in.

As far as I know we all this one life. Why not live it to it’s fullest? Why not make your own rules? Since we’re all going to die are own death, why not live our life. Nobody else is responsible for our health and happiness. The more we assign others the role of being responsible for our happiness, the more we are assured misery.

The answers aren’t in a pill, a job, a house or a person. The answers are all within us. It’s up to us.

Do I eat healthy today or do I eat a bunch of crap? Do I exercise today or do I sit on my ass and do nothing? Do I get out and see the sun or do I confine myself to an office or a cubicle? Do I fill my body and mind with only the best or do I fill it with toxins? Do I think thoughts of what I want in life or do I think thoughts about what I don’t want in life? Am I responsible for my happiness or is it the weather, the war or the traffic that’s responsible for how I feel about my life right now in this instant? Am I responsible for my state of being or is he or she in charge of my inner state? Am I Here Now or wishing I can change something I did yesterday?

These are the questions we are all confronted with on a daily basis. It’s how we answer these questions, what actions we take, what habits we develop that determines our course in life and just how much we enjoy that course…
