5 Quick Tips From Your Personal Fitness Trainer To Make Your Workout More Productive
1. Workout at the time of day you feel best, i.e if you're a night person workout at night if you're a morning person workout in the morning.
2. Have a plan of what exercises you want to get through, use a few plan b exercises if the equipment you want to use is being used, and stick to the plan.
3. Listen to inspiring music when you do your resistance training and self help audio when you do your cardio work.
4. Eat one to two hours before your workout, don't show up to resistance training workouts hungry, your workout will suffer
5. Use A/B split routine while training opposing body parts and short rest. Your first muscle group will recover while you work the opposing muscle group so you'll be able to get more work done in less time.
Great muscle groups to work in this fashion are:
Bis - Tris
Back - Chest
Lats - Shoulders
Hams - Quads
