Five things this personal trainer has learned…

Brought to you by your local San Clemente Personal Trainer and Positively Fit Personal Fitness Training

Five things this fitness trainer has learned:

1. Sometimes I really don't want to workout but afterwards I'm always glad I did. Plus, if I can coax myself into the gym by telling myself I'll just have a light little workout, usually after I get there and warm up it's pretty easy to hit it hard.

2. People who workout just seem to be happier and more successful for the most part.

3. No one else has any responsibility for me getting to the gym, eating right, getting into shape, or for any other part of my life for that matter. If I blame anyone else for my current circumstances I give all my power away.

I see this one a lot. "I can't eat right because my wife doesn't cook those kinds of foods" "I can't get to the gym because my friend broke up with her boyfriend and she needs to talk" "My work has me putting in too many hours"

Those are all your choices. We're all busy, we all run into hurdles, life happens. Those who get results look for a solution and find it. It's always there.

4. Stay away from energy vampires and time suckers. It's best not to let negative, needy or clingy people become part of my reality. Whether it be business or personal. They can stay over there.

5. The more books I read and self improvement and educational cd's I listen to and apply, the better my life is.

Make the day a beautiful one,

Chris
